Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows is nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains where we craft our beer recipes on a traditional German-designed 10 Hectoliter brewing system.

We’ll pour you a pint from one of the 48 taps on the property served up alongside delicious wood-fired dishes. Fast-casual fare is available outside at The Oak Grill along with beer and wine at The Outdoor Bar. Inside The Shanty, we pour rare Devils Backbone beers, and a wide selection of fine spirits with a focus on whiskey and cigars. Adjacent to Basecamp, you’ll find Devils Backbone Distilling Co., where we make meticulously crafted spirits.

Throughout the year, we host bike races, trail runs, festivals and lots of live music.

We’ve got plenty of room for day trippers or overnighters. Devils Backbone Camp has 71 campsites, including full hookup RV sites, dry RV sites, and primitive tent camping. Camping not your thing? We have two luxury homes on property available for your renting pleasure. Sleeping within walking distance to the Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows—that’s what we call a beer dream come true!
