THE OMNI HOMESTEAD RESORT
The iconic Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, is a premier destination for travelers from around the world. Known as America’s First Resort, The Homestead’s incredible history stretches back more than two and a half centuries and includes visits from 23 U.S. presidents. Situated on 2,300 acres in the scenic Allegheny Mountains, the resort offers a wide array of amenities, exquisite cuisine and genuine hospitality.
Here, golfers can play two championship courses, including The Cascades, annually ranked among the top courses in the country. The Old Course, home to the oldest first tee in continuous use in the country, features six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s. Spa aficionados are invited to indulge in a range of services including massage, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures. Soaking in the resort’s renowned hot springs is part of the experience in the adults-only Serenity Garden. Other resort activities include the Shooting Club with trap, skeet, five-stand and sporting clays and an Equestrian Center with horseback riding and carriage rides. The Homestead also offers fly fishing, archery, tomahawk throwing, miniature golf, indoor and outdoor pools, falconry, hiking trails, mountain bikes and kayaking.
Dining at The Homestead is a treat for all guests with multiple venues available. The elegant Dining Room serves an expansive breakfast buffet and a traditional menu of Homestead favorites and continental cuisine for dinner. Jefferson’s Restaurant features vegetables from local farmers and lamb and trout from nearby Highland County. The Omni Homestead Epicurean Classic, launched in 2022, highlights the best of Virginia food and wine and the finest winemakers and chefs of the Commonwealth.
For a casual lunch or dinner, the popular Jefferson’s Taproom provides salads, soups, sandwiches and more along with a 10-tap system featuring regional craft beers. Seasonal outlets include Rubino’s at The Cascades, Woody’s, Kober’s at the Mountain Lodge and Allegheny Springs Grill. One of the resort’s newest options is the Virginia wine experience where guests can enjoy a specially curated flight of Virginia Wines in the Tasting Parlor or purchase a bottle to take home. Once a month, the resort hosts one of the Commonwealth’s top winemakers for a tasting and intimate dinner experience.
