Wine & Country Life to Sponsor the Homestead Epicurean Classic

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (September 2022)––Wine & Country is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the inaugural Homestead Epicurean Classic. The two-day event features over a dozen of the Commonwealth’s most outstanding wineries and is a luxurious celebration of Virginia Wine Country’s renowned wine and cuisine. 

With over 4,000 acres of grapes, 10 distinct wine regions, eight American Viticultural Areas and over 300 wineries spread across the state of Virginia, there is an abundance of notable people and culinary delights to celebrate.

The weekend features the exclusive Governor’s Cup Case Tasting and the inaugural Homestead Norton Cup Challenge. Attendees with tickets to the Norton Master Class will have the unique opportunity to sample the top four wines from the Norton Cup Challenge. Guests will also have the privilege of tasting each wine in the 2022 Case Tasting as they enjoy local Virginia cheeses and charcuterie.

Leaders of the Virginia Wine Country community, including acclaimed wine experts, winemakers and chefs, will also be in attendance at the event, sharing their expertise with visitors through educational courses. These enlightening opportunities include master classes, cooking demonstrations, seminars and wine tastings.

Finally, the Taste of Virginia wine festival celebrates the end of the weekend. This event honors the robust flavors of Virginia with wine tastings and tapas-style cuisine provided by local wineries, farmers and chefs. The event is completed with live music from Nashville recording artists Chad Nickell & the Loose Change.

The Homestead Epicurean Classic will take place from November 11-12 at the award-winning Omni Homestead Resort and offer a truly unforgettable, rewarding experience that all wine lovers will delight in.
