Chestnut Oak Vineyard

Chestnut Oak Vineyard® is located in the Monticello Region along a scenic Virginia byway. Produced in small quantities, our wines are unique to the Monticello wine region of Virginia. Our first acreage was planted in 2006. In 2013, the vineyards were expanded and winery construction was complete. In 2014, we became fully estate, producing and bottling all of our wines onsite.

We are currently offering flight, and bar tastings in our tasting room Friday–Monday, 12–5 p.m., where you can sample some of our medal winners as well as wine by the glass or a bottle to be enjoyed while seated inside the tasting room or outdoors surrounded by the grape vines. (Mondays are seasonal. We are closed from December to March on Mondays.)

Visit us for an unusual experience. We are three miles south of the iconic Barboursville Vineyards.
